The human diets include different type of saccharide and not only the single type of saccharides. Lactose sugar includes glucose and galactose present in milk. Fructose is disaccharide contain glucose and fructose sugar. Rice includes starch that is a polysaccharide.

Thus, diets include different types of sugar.

Saccharides are commonly known as sugars. There are three types of saccharides namely monosaccharides, disaccharides and polysaccharides.

There are not any known food types that contain a single form of saccharide. but if these are hydrolyzed, it mat give us the monosaccharide form that is C6H12O6 that is glucose and fructose.

About hydrolysis or saccharification:

Hydrolysis or saccharification is a process/ reaction that involves breaking up of a bond using water in a molecule. This reaction usually occurs between ions and water molecules that can change the pH of a solution.
