The answer is x = -5

(4/x) - (2/5) = (6/x)

Move the variables to one side:

-(2/5) = (6/x) - (4/x)

Then simplify:

-(2/5) = (2/x)

-(2/5)x = 2

x = -5

You can check by substituting the solution back in, replacing the variable.
