we know that

A square plot of land of dimensions 1 mile x 1 mile is 640 acres

5,280 ft is equal to 1 mile

so

5,280 *5,280 =27,878,400
ft^(2)-------> is equal to 640 acres

by proportion

(27,878,400)/(640) (ft^(2))/(acres) = (x)/(1) (ft^(2))/(acres) \\\\640*x=27,878,400 \\\\x= (27,878,400)/(640)\\\\ x=43,560\ ft^(2)

Find the edge of the square plot

=√(43,560) \\= 208.71\ ft

therefore

the answer is

208.71\ ft
