Substitute -2 for k into the expression.
Solve inside the parentheses first.
Multiply 2 * (-2) in the first parentheses, and add (-2) + 4 in the second parentheses. Multiply 3 * (-2) on the bottom.
Solve inside the first parentheses.
Add -6 + 2.
Multiply 5 * (-7) and 3 * (2).
Subtract -35 and 6.
-41/-4 is the same as 41/4, and 41/4 cannot be simplified further, so:
Your answer is 41/4.
