A.) Each liter of air has a mass of 1.80 grams. How many liters of air are contained in 2.5 x103 kg of air?
Ans: mass/L = 1.80g
M = 2.5 x 10^3 kg
Where 1kg = 10^3 g, we have;
M = 2.5 x 10^3 x 10^3 g = 2.5 x 10^6 g
V = (2.5 x 10^6) / 1.8 = 1.389 x 10^6 L
V = 1.389L
Hope this helps ;)
