We start out with 2x = 6 (x - 12) (If you have any questions about that part, just ask.) Now distribute 6 to x and 12, getting
2x = 6x - 70. Now subtract 6x from both sides, getting -4x = -70. Divide both sides by -4, getting x = 17.5, hope this helps! Tell me if you have any questions.

Gabriela would be 15 now. Kevin was 18 at the time and Gabriela was 3 at the time.
18 divide by 6 is 3
(The numbers put in an equation)
And then add the twelve to both and it fits.
18+12= 30
And the answer we need,
3+12= 15.
