This is False.

Before the arrival of European, there were thousand of Indian tribes, languages, and cultures that were already established. There were tribes all over North America in the current modern day United States, including tribes like the Hohokam and Anasazi in modern day Arizona and tribes like the Mohawk, Onondaga, and Cayuga in modern day New York. These are just to name a few, as several other ones existed between these two states.
