How would I solve this?

2y = 8x - 4; ( 0, 3)

you are given the coordinates (0,3), in which x = 0, y = 3. You are basically trying to see if the point works for the equation. Plug them in.

2(3) = 8(0) - 4

Simplify

6 = 0 - 4

6 = -4

No, (0,3) does not work in this scenario
