The currency in Brazil is called the Brazilian real and is represented by R$. A Brazilian real is similar to the US dollar in that R$1 is divided into 100 parts, called centavos.

Fatima lives in Michigan and is traveling to Brazil. She knows R$1 = $0.32 (US).

How many Brazilian real will she receive when she exchanges $750 (US)?

3.2 to 10 would be the ratio

10 divided by 3.2 is 3.125 so

$750 (USD) times 3.125 = R$2,343.75

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
