Part A

√(13) = 3.6055512.....

√(14) = 3.7416573.....

A real number can be any rational or irrational number which does not have imaginary roots. Hence, the number needs to be a positive value. Any number between
√(13) and
√(14) will be positive, so we can take any value between these two numbers. So one of the real numbers an be 3.65528... or
√(13.4)

Part B

Irrational number is a number whose decimal representation is non-terminating and non-recurring. So an irrational number between 5 and 7 we need a number on the number line between 5 and 7 (i.e. it is greater than 5 and less than 7). We can pick let's say 6, and make the decimal part non-recurring and non-terminating:

6.540540054000540000.....

We can choose any such number where you see after the decimal point it is clear that it's non-repeating non-terminating, since there are infinite number of irrational numbers between any 2 numbers
