We have been given the product

(1.18 * 10^3) \cdot (9.1 * 10^(-6))

First of all we multiply 1.18 and 9.1. On multiplying, we get

1.18 * 9.1 = 10.738

Now, we multiply

10^3 \text{ and } 10^(-6)

Using the exponent property
x^a * x^b = x^(a+b), we get

10^3 * 10^(-6) \\ \\ =10^(3-6)\\ \\ =10^(-3)

Therefore, we have the product

10.738* 10^(-3)

In scientific notation the product is

10.738* 10^(-3)= 1.0738* 10^(-2)

A is the correct option.
