What did the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty accomplish in 1963? It outlawed all nuclear testing in all parts of the world. It stopped nuclear testing everywhere but below ground. The ban allowed nuclear testing on the ground only. It did nothing; no one followed the rules it set down.

The Nuclear Test Ban Treaty(1963), signed by the Soviet Union(Russia), the United Kingdom, the United States, prohibited all testing except underground tests.(on water and land probably).

The treaty was signed by Russia, Great Britain, and the US to no test anywhere especially the atmosphere water or under ground.
