So, for the first 40 hours Tommy makes a total of $820. (40 hours)($20.50/hour) = $820.
For the additional 9 hours he makes a total of $276.75. (9 hours)($30.75/hour) = $276.75.
So, for the whole week Tommy has made $820 + $276.75 = $1096.75
