The given expression is


x^(9/7)

We can write it in radical form, and the denominator of the exponent became the power of the radical. That is


x^(9/7) = \sqrt[7]{x^9}

And


\sqrt[7]{x^9} = \sqrt[7]{x^7*x^2}

We can also write it as


\sqrt[7]{x^7}*\sqrt[7]{x^2} = x \sqrt[7]{x^2}

And that's the simplified form of the given exponential form .
