I have the answer but can figure out how to write it out

answer: -4x+8b

plz help!!!

-2[3x-b-2x+x-3b]

-2[(3x - 2x + x) + (-b -3b)]

-2[2x - 4b]

-4x + 8b

However you are answering, the way you wrote it should be fine. I'm just going to check to see that it is correct.

-2[3x - (b + 2x) + (x - 3b)] Remove the inside brackets ()

-2[3x - b - 2x + x - 3b] Collect like terms inside the square brackets.

-2[ 3x - 2x + x - b - 3b]

-2[2x - 4b] Now remove the square brackets.

-4x + 8b So your answer and mine agree.

Just write it as you see it.
