To solve the equation:

(u - 3)/(4) = 4 \\ (u - 3)/(4) * 4 = 4 * 4\\ u - 3 = 4 * 4 \\ u - 3 + 3 = 16 + 3 \\ u = 16 + 3 \\ u = 19

Therefore, the answer is u=19.

Hope it helps!
