You forgot to use PEMDAS. Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition and Subtraction!

All remember PEMDAS!

So first what we have to do is multiply 3 by itself, so 3 x 3 which is 9.

So now our problem looks like this

184 - [ (45 / 5) x 9] - 6

( I added brackets and parenthesis so it looks simpler)

So 45 divided by 5 is 9

So now it looks like

184 - (9 x 9) - 6

So 9 x 9 is 81.

So now it's

184 - 81 - 6.

184 - 81 is 103

103 - 6 is 97
