What does absolute value mean

OK, I'll give tips on absolute value.

No matter what type of number it is it always equals to a positive number.

ex: |-3| = 3, |15| = 15

Here's an example: If you have -9 and it asks for the absolute value of it, it means the opposite. The absolute value of -9 is positive 9.
