The answer should be x = 7/2

1. Combine like terms on both sides

2x+5x-7 =10-3+3x

7x-7=7+3x

2. Subtrace either 7x or 3x on both sides

7x-3x-7=7=3x-3x

4x-7=7

3. Add 7 to both sides

4x -7+7=7+7

4x=14

4. Then divide by 4 on both sides

4x/4=14/4

x=7/2
