Given that graph is cubic which increases first then decreases then increases again. The graph intercepts the x axis at approximately -1.8, 0, and 3.2.

That means graph will look similar to attached graph.

We can see that maximum lies at point A Which is clearly between x=-1.8 and x=0

That best matches with x=-1 from given choices.


We can see that minimum lies at point B Which is clearly between x=0 and x=3.2
