What is equivalent to 6(3-g)+2(11-g)

6(3-g)+ 2(11-g)
18-6g+22-2g
-8g+40

Distribute 6 to both 3 and -g, and 2 to both 11 and -g

6(3-g) = 18 - 6g

2(11-g) = 22 - 2g

Combine like terms

18 + 22 = 40

-6g - 2g = -8g

-8g + 40 is your answer
