can someone please help me this problem : the area of a triangle is 200 ft squared. what does x have to be? one side of the triangle is 12 ft an the​ other side on the bottom says 5x ft

Area (A) of a triangle = 1/2 x base (b) x height (h)

A = 1/2 · b · h ⇒ 2A = b·h

2(200) = 12 · 5x

400 = 60 x

400/60 = x

20/3 = x

Answer: 20/3
