Answer:

Identification of bacteria

As we know that for identification of bacteria a sequence of DNA is studied in the same region of each bacterium. However, these sequences possess different base pairs in each bacterium. These sequences are then amplified using 16SrRNA or 18SrDNA. After amplification they are sequenced and match with the present sequence of identified bacteria present in gene bank like NCBI. The matching show similarities with refrence bacteria. If matching is 99% or more then they assign names to bacteria if no matching occurs or similarities index value is very less then they named it as uncultured bacteria.
