Let's go ahead and compare two Spanish speaking countries to have an idea of their differences and cultures.
Colombia is a country that is growing in terms of economy, education, social care programs and security. Their people are really friendly and they welcome tourists in a very nice way. However, as the country is also growing in terms of technology, this new generation is having a really fast transition to smartphones and computers, which is taking the youngest to lose human realtions skills. Colombians are known for being hard workers, specially because the goverment is capitalist and requires that people work hard to fulfill their everyday needs.
Venezuela is a country that a few years back was really strong in all the points mentioned above, however, the goverment has made mistakes and took the country to a very bad place. This goverment is socialist, so people didn't need to work hard to get their car, their house and have a nice life. Now that their goverment can't offer the same incentives to their people, their transition to a different country is difficult because their people is not used to work hard, and their manners are also spoiled due to their background.
