Answer;

-Rain forests typically support large numbers of plants and animals on a thin layer of topsoil. Removal of vegetation leads to depletion of soil nutrients and hardening of the soil, eliminating the possibility of reforestation.

Explanation;

Tropical rainforests feature a wide variety of tall trees, diverse populations of plants and animals, warm climates and lots and lots of rain. All rainforests have a canopy, which is a layer of branches and leaves formed at the tops of the tall trees that make up the rainforest.

-Rainforests are forests characterized by high rainfall, with annual rainfall in the case of tropical rainforests between 250 and 450 cm and definitions varying by region for temperate rainforests.
