An art academy requires their to be 3 teachers for every 75 students and 6 tutors for every 72 students. How many tutors does the academy need if it has 120 students?

All you need to do is set up a proportion for 6 tutors and 72 students. The number teachers is not relevant, nor is their relationship to the number of student assigned to 3 teachers.

All you are asked about is the number of tutors for 120 students.

Proportion

6/72 = x / 120 Cross multiply

72x = 6 * 120

72x = 720 Divide by 72

x = 720 / 72

x = 10
