Find the value of this expression:
0.4(0.6+3.2)÷2

The first step would be taking 0.4 times 0.6 which would give you 0.24. Now take 0.4 times 3.2 which would give you 1.28. Divide 1.28 by 2 because your equation would look like 0.24+3.2 ÷2. Remember PEMDAS which means parentheses, , multiplication, division, addition and subtraction. So 3.2 ÷ 2 is 1.6. Lastly add 0.24 and 1.6 which would equal 1.84.

Or it could be adding the numbers in the parentheses which would give 3.8, then divide by 2 which you would get 1.9 and now add 0.4. Then your final answer would be 2.3.
