Explain why sin(90) =1

When talking about the unit circle, it’s important to remember that sin = y-value, and cos = x-value. When you move 90 degrees in quadrant order (counterclockwise), you end up with a y-value of 1. Therefore, sin(90) would equal 1 (and cos(90) would be 0).
