The formula for the area of a rhombus is A =1/2 d1d2, where d1 and d2 are the lengths of the diagonals. Which are equivalent equations? Check all that apply.

d1 = 2Ad2
d1 = 2a/d2
d2 = d1/2a
d2 = 2a/d1
d2 = 2Ad1

In this question, the formula of area of rhombus is given, which is

A = (1)/(2) d_(1)*d_(2)

And whether we need to write the equivalent expression in terms of d1 or d2, we have to get rid of the denominator 2 first.

And for that, we multiply both sides by 2.

2A =d_(1)*d_(2)

If we have to solve for d1, we have to divide both sides by d2. And if we have to solve for d2, we have to divide both sides by d1 . That is

d_(1) = (2A)/(d_(2)) , d_(2) = (2A)/(d_(1))

Correct options are second and fourth .
