Does the following systems produce an infinite number of solutions? -2x = -8 - 2y; -2y - 8= -2x

First, subtract the 2nd equation from the first.

-2x = -2y - 8

- -2x = -2y - 8

----------------------

0 = 0

Yes, it does, because any value you use for x and y will be the correct answer.
