The expression that would be shown would be:


(50mi)/(hr)*(1hr)/(60min)

Then we would simply multiply across to make the correct conversion, while also canceling out units that are found on both the top and the bottom of the fraction bars:


(50mi)/(hr)*(1hr)/(60min)=(0.833mi)/(min)

So now we know that 50mph can be converted to 0.833 miles per minute.
