A CTSO for students taking marketing classes, a club providing hands-on laboratory experience for students taking a science class and an agricultural organization for students in an agricultural school are all examples of co-curricular education.
Co-curricular education describes activities, programs and different learning experiences that build on what a student learns in school. These examples are all forms of co-curricular education because they are extra curricular activities that allow students to practice and utilize the skills they learn in school in a different way and apply them.
