The plague arrived in Europe in the late 1340 s, destroying an approximated 25 million people. The Black Death crawled on for ages, especially in cities. The plague persisted in London continuously to the late fall when the freezing climate assisted in killing off the insects. Over the ages, Bubonic Plague has crumbled out in Europe. Influenza appears to be the contemporary class of plague.
