The given units are the units of masses which are interconvertable.

It is given that:

1 lb = 16 oz

Now, converting
kg to lb:

Since,
1 kg = 2.20462 lb

So,
(0.0625 lb)/(1 oz)* (1 kg)/(2.20462 lb)

Now converting
kg to g:

Since, 1 kg = 1000 g

So,
(0.0625 lb)/(1 oz)* (1 kg)/(2.20462 lb)* (1000 g)/(1 kg) = 28.349 (g)/(oz)

For
4 oz:

28.349(g)/(oz) * 4 oz = 113.396 g

Thus,
113.396 g of ointment needed to be prepared by the pharmacist.
