What is the coefficient of b in the expression b+10? Explain

Hello!

A coefficient is a constant multiplied by a variable. As you can see, b is not being multiplied by a number we can see. The thing is, it still has a coefficient. Isn't 1b the same thing as b? This would mean our coefficient would be 1.
