slope intercept form is y = mx + b

m stands for slope and the b stands for the y-intercept form. just replace it with the numbers.

y = 3x + (-2) .... keep in mind that the "+" sign will be there but in this case that negative sign from -2 will change the answer to y = 3x - 2

remember a negative next to a positive turns to a negative.
