false 6 x 10 = 60 60+8= 68 but if six Times 10 is 60 in the statement will be false because there is no 60 and 601

I believe this is true because the 6 in 68 stands as 60. And the 6 in 601 stands at 600 so, 60 x 10 = 600. Sorry if I'm incorrect!
