A business can rent a photocopy machine and pay either $70/week rental plus $0.02 per copy or $45/week and $0.04 per copy. Up to what number of photocopies can be made so that the second option will be the equivalent or better choice?

Basically we just use this inequality:

70 + 0.02x = 45 + 0.04x

25 + 0.02x = 0.04x

25 = 0.02x

x = 1250

It will be the better choice if you make 1250 copies or less
