Optical instruments are used to record and take photos of various regions and communication technology is widely and efficiently applied to transfer the data back to earth, from the devices used. Spectrometer is used to study and analyse the light . Biological study is necessary to understand the possibility of life beyond the earth. Like this , in all its aspects, astronomers apply the principles and concepts via technology as well to study the universe and also the various planets, stars , atmosphere beyond the earth.
