The answer on this question is 3, if you multiply the numerator and denumarator by 15, you got 15/5 which is 3

Answer:

3 gallons per minute

Explanation:

So the problem is
((1)/(5) gallons )/((1)/(15) minute)

To make the 1/15 of a minute to one minute we have to multiply 1/15 by 15

(1)/(15) (15) = 1

What we do to the bottom applies to the top.

(1)/(5) (15) = 3

So it will be
(3gallons)/(1minute).

Or 3 gallons per minute.

Hope this helps :)
