\sin\theta=(opposite)/(hypotenuse)\\\\\cos\theta=(adjacent)/(hypotenuse)\\\\\tan\theta=(opposite)/(adjacent)

It's an isosceles triangle, therefore AB = BC.

Let AB = BC = x abd AC = y. Then:

opposite=adjacent=x\\hypotenuse=y\\\\\sin A=(x)/(y)\\\\\cos A=(x)/(y)\\\\\sin C=(x)/(y)\\\\\cos C=(x)/(y)\\\\\tan C=(x)/(x)=1

Answer: C. tan C

Answer:

correct option is d) cos C

Explanation:

Since,

SinФ = (perpendicular)/(hypotenuses)

CosФ = (base)/(hypotenuses)

TanФ = (perpendicular)/(base)

In triangle ABC , sides are denoted as mention in figure-1

sin A =(x)/(z)

cos A =(y)/(z)

sin C =(y)/(x)

tan C =(y)/(x)

cos C =(x)/(z)

hence, cos C have similar value as sin A

Therefore, correct option is d) cos C
