You are on an alien planet where the names for substances and the units of measures are very unfamiliar. Nonetheless, you obtain 87 quibs of a substance called skvarnick. You can trade this skvarnick for gold coins, but the vendors all measure skvarnick in units of sleps; not quibs. 9 quibs is equal to 8 sleps. If you have 87 quibs of skvarnick, how many sleps do you have? Round your answer to the nearest tenth (one decimal place). Your Answer:

Answer: -

77.3 sleps of skvarnick.

In the above question we are told that 9 quibs is equal to 8 sleps.

In the above question we are also told that we have 87 quibs of skvarnick.

Thus 87 quibs of skvarnick =
(87 quibs )/(9 quibs) x 8 sleps of skvarnick

= 77.333 sleps of skvarnick

= 77.3 sleps of skvarnick, rounded off to the nearest tenth (one decimal place).
