Before you add the fractions, make sure they have a common denominator. The LCM of 6, 3, and 4 is 12.

6 * 2 = 12 \\ 3 * 4 = 12 \\ 4 * 3 = 12

Change each fraction so that they have a common denominator.

(1 * 2)/(6 * 2) = (2)/(12)

(2 * 4)/(3 * 4) = (8)/(12)

(1 * 3)/(4 * 3) = (3)/(12)

Now add the 3 fractions:

(2)/(12) + (8)/(12) + (3)/(12) = (13)/(12) \rightarrow 1 (1)/(12)

Your answer is 1
(1)/(12)
