How do i graph 2x + 3y = 9

1) Find the y - intercept
you can do this by finding the value for y:

2x+3y=9 —-> move 2x to the other side

3y = -2x + 9 —> then divide both sides by 3

y = -⅔x + 3 <— this is your y-intercept

to graph this, start from the point (0,0)
your first point will be the constant which in this case is number 3

so plot this 3 on your y- axis on your grid

from there, your term in the equation which in this case is -⅔x

from your first point which is (0,3) you either:

go up two times, go left three times

or

go down two times, go right three times
