Let my number is "xy", where "x" is on tens place and "y" is on ones place.

From question it is given that

x - y = 8

x = y + 8

since "x" cannot be more than "9", so y could be "0" or "1"

but it is also given that y ≠ 0. So y = 1

and x = 1 + 8 = 9

so number is 91
