A parallelogram has an area of 7 square units. If the height that corresponds to a base is 1/4 unit, what is the base?

Answer: b= 28

A parallelogram has opposite sides parallel and equal in length. Also, opposite angles are equal, making squares, rectangles and rhombuses examples of parallelograms.

If the area of the parallelogram is 7 square units and the height that corresponds to the base is 1/4 unit, then the base is:

A=bh

7 square units= b(1/4)

b=7/(1/4)

b=28
