The answer is 16. You would first change 10/4 to 2/5. Then multiply 10 by 2/5 which gives you 20/5, which simplifies to 4, note you still have -1/2 and -8/1 so -4x-8/2*1= 32/2*1= 32/2 which is 16

Step-by-step explanation:

_________________

Given: Simplify: " 10/(10/4) • (-1/2)• -8/1 " ;

_________________

To solve:

Start with: " 10 / (10/4) " ;

Note:

→ (10/4) = (10÷2)/(4÷2) = (5/2) .

→ " 10/(10/4) = 10/(5/2) " ;

→ 10/(5/2) = 10 * (2/5) =
(10)/(1) *
(2)/(5) ;

=
((10*2))/((1*5)) ;

=
(20)/(5) ;

= (20 ÷ 5) ;

= 4 .

Rewrite the problem as:

→ 4 * (-1/2) * -8/1 ;

→ 4 * (-1/2) = -2 ;

→ -2 * 8 = - 16 ;

→ -16 ÷ 1 = - 16 .
