A BLOOD sample has about 5 times as many monocytes as basophils if there are 60 basophils in the sample about how many monocytes are there?

\\ \text{Let the number of monocytes be M and number of basophils is B.}\\ \text{Now since a blood sample has about 5 times as many monocytes as basophils,}\\ \text{so in mathmatical notation, we can represent this situation as:}\\ \\ M=5* B\\ \\ \text{Now the case when  there are 60 basophils in the blood sample, }\\ \text{then the number of monocyles would be}\\ \\ M=5* 60\\ \\ \Rightarrow M=300

There would be about 300 monocytes in the blood sample.
