The answer is: g = " - 11
(2)/(3)
" ;

or, write as: " - 11 . 6666667 " .

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve:

Given: (0.6) g = -7 ; Solve for "g".

Divide each side of the equation by "(0.6)" ;

to isolate "g" on one side of the equation; & to solve for "g" ;

→ (0.6)g / (0.6) = (-7) / (0.6) ;

to get :

Your equation is 0.6g=-7. You are trying to get the value of the variable, G, so you need to isolate it. To do this, you need to get rid of 0.6! Since it is being multiplied by g, you will divide it on both sides to undo the operation. Take 0.6 and say 0.6g/0.6 which will give you g. Now, do the same on the other side of the equal sign and say -7/0.6, which I get -11.666... (-11.6 repeating, or 'bar'-11.6 which you will write as -11.6 with a line drawn over it. If you need it in a fraction, most calculators should have an option to convert it, or you can do it yourself if you know how).
