If 3/5 of a number is 6 less than 15, the number is

3/5n (3/5 of a number)

15-6 (6 less than 15)


(3)/(5)n=15-6

Firstly, solve the subtraction:
(3)/(5)n=9

Next, multiply both sides by 5/3 and your answer will be
n=15 , or A.
